6 Modalities for Calibration

Calibration is the ability to notice subtle changes in a person's physiology as they move through different internal states. Mastery of these 6 modalities allows you to read people with incredible precision.

1. Colour of Face

Observe shifts from light to dark, which can indicate changes in blood flow and emotional intensity.

2. Skin Tonus

Notice the tension in the skin, moving from shiny (tensed) to matt (relaxed).

3. Lips

Observe the shape—from thin with no lines to fuller with visible lines.

4. Eyes

Focus on two areas: Focus (focussed to defocused) and Pupils (dilated to constricted).

5. Breathing

Locate where the breath is held or moving: lower abdomen, mid-chest, or upper chest.

6. Voice & Posture

Calibrate Tone (high to low), Tempo (fast to slow), Posture (spine and neck shape), and Gestures.
