What is a values hierarchy?

A values hierarchy is a list of values around a certain context. Understanding this hierarchy allows you to see what truly drives your decisions and where your potential conflicts might lie.

How to elicit a Values Hierarchy

• Ask: "What’s important to you about [Business/Health/Relationships]?"
• Ask: "What else?" until you run out of responses.
• Order the values by asking: "If you could only have one of these values, which one would you pick?" and rank them until complete.

Identifying "Away-from" Values

Away-from values are things we are trying to avoid. Because the unconscious mind cannot process a negative, we often tend to be attracted to the very things we are trying to avoid. These can be resolved using Time Heals Paradigm or by identifying and removing the limiting decision behind them.
