The Lead representation is the representation system that an individual uses to access memories and internal information. It serves as the gateway to their internal experiences.
This is critically important in strategy elicitation and eye pattern work. For example, it may appear that every strategy a person runs begins with visual recall, when in fact they are simply using their lead representation system to access the memory before processing it further.
Identifying the lead system allows a practitioner to speak the "language of the client's internal search engine," making communication more efficient and Rapport more natural.
